(Richmond)- The Virginia Employment Commission being criticized for falling behind during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the Joint Legislative Audit-and-Review Commission, the V-E-C could’ve been better prepared for the large amount of unemployment claims. The commission was appointed by the General Assembly to review the behind-the-scenes operations. A detailed report is expected to be released in November.
