(Richmond)- Governor Northam says 19 school districts will receive grant money to purchase electric and propane school buses. They’ll replace 83 diesel buses while also reducing air pollution. Fairfax County will benefit the most from the funds to purchase ten electric buses. Arlington will get three, Culpeper and Louisa two, Caroline one. Governor Northam said the ten-point-five-million-dollars in funds came from the Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust.
