(DC)- The Washington Monument will be closed for a second-straight day after being struck by lightning. The National Park Service closed the Monument yesterday for repairs to the electronic access system. It’s all stemming from the storms over the weekend, with lightning striking the building. There were no damages to the structure or the elevator.
