Correctional Facilities Reopening To Public

(Richmond)- Nearly a-dozen correctional facilities operated by the state will reopen to the public in just a few weeks. Family visits will resume at nine facilities statewide on September 1st. Masks will be required, and anyone over the age of 12 must take a rapid antigen test with a negative test result to enter. The Virginia Department of Corrections is aiming for October 1st to allow family visits at all facilities.
