(Chesterfield)- Some new faces joining Virginia State Police. Forty trooper-trainees completed more than 13-hundred hours of classroom and field training to step into the big ranks. State Police held their commencement exercises for the 134th Basic Session late last week. The next step includes six additional weeks of hands-on training with a Field Training Officer in their patrol area.
