(Richmond)- Republican candidate for governor of Virginia Glenn Youngkin says if elected he won’t criminalize marijuana. The Youngkin campaign responded to Democrat candidate Terry McAuliffe’s claim that Youngkin would yield to some Republican lawmakers’ wishes and reverse Virginia’s new recreational marijuana law. Youngkin’s campaign says he’ll concentrate on “building a rip-roaring economy” as well as investing in education and other needs, not on canceling legalized marijuana.
