Pharmacies Expanding COVID Vax Hours Ahead Of July 4th

(Undated)- Nearly 150 pharmacies across Virginia are expanding their hours for giving COVID-19 vaccinations over the next two weeks. The Virginia Department of Health says the schedule change will last through the Fourth of July as part of the National Vaccine Month of Action. This is a nationwide effort to encourage Americans to roll up their sleeves to help reach the goal of having 70-percent of adults in the U.S. partially vaccinated by that date. Albertsons, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens and independent pharmacies are participating.
