Face Coverings Changes For St. Mary’s County Students

(Leonardtown)- One school district in Southern Maryland is tossing out a long-standing health guideline for students and staff. Face coverings will no longer be required when students return to school next year. The St. Mary’s County superintendent told families that they may still wear the face masks if they wish moving forward. Meanwhile, virtual learning will be offered for grades three-though-twelve as an option.
