VEC Scheduling Appointments With Representatives

(Richmond)- Virginia residents can now schedule appointments to speak with a representative about an unemployment claim. The Virginia Employment Commission has set up an online system for residents to make an appointment for a representative to call them back. This comes as the VEC has gotten heat from residents who had trouble getting their unemployment benefits during the pandemic. However, officials say appointments are limited and may not lead to a resolution or payment of claims.
