(DC)- Members of the U.S. Senate will meet up next week to discuss D.C. statehood. The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs will gather on Tuesday morning for the discussion. The bill has passed the House. D.C. would become Washington, Douglass Commonwealth if Senate approved the bill.
