(Arlington)- The future of School Resource Officers in Arlington County is up in the air. The Arlington superintendent has laid out an idea that would remove SROs from their schools. Instead, the officers would be relocated to several locations near the schools but they would still provide security and school safety support. The school board will vote later this month. School Resource Officers have been in Arlington County Public Schools for more than 50 years.
