Virginia Senate Republicans Push For End To Remaining COVID Rules

(Richmond)- A group of Virginia lawmakers want to see the governor do away with the state’s remaining coronavirus restrictions. Virginia Senate Republicans released a statement, citing a need to restore the state’s economy. They say Virginia should be among the first in the U.S. to end all COVID-related restrictions ahead of the “summer tourist season.” The governor plans to lift capacity and social distancing restrictions on May 28th.
