(Richmond)- Virginia Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. James Lane says that summer programs will be expanded to help students that need it the most. Dr. Lane says there are no plans to have any mandated summer school or year-round school. Dr. Lane is encouraging all parents to strongly consider bringing their students back for in-person learning in the fall.
