(Richmond)- Governor Northam has declared a state of emergency throughout the Commonwealth. This comes following a ransomware cyberattack at the Colonial Pipeline system. The company is a major primary source for gasoline for many Virginia retailers. Governor Northam says that the declaration will help prepare the state for any supply shortages. Long lines and closed gas pumps around the area yesterday.
