State Health Department Changes Vaccine Plan

(Richmond)- The Virginia Department of Health is shifting its COVID vaccine distribution strategy.  More doses are now going out to primary care doctors, mobile sites and neighborhood clinics in order to reach people who may be hesitant or don’t have access to vaccines.  One Chesterfield doctor told EightNews he’s considering extending hours and going to homes as part of a greater outreach.  Roughly 32-percent of Virginia’s population is fully vaccinated.
