Graduates Offered New Diplomas With Name Changes

(Fairfax)- Graduates of two Fairfax County schools can request to get new diplomas reflecting a name change for their schools.  The Fairfax County School District says those who have graduated from schools previously named in honor of the Confederacy can request the new diplomas.  Those who have graduated from the Robert E. Lee High School and the J.E.B. Steward High School can purchase new diplomas that reflect their name changes.  Lee High has been renamed after late Congressman John Lewis and Stewart High School has been renamed Justice High School.  A new diploma will cost graduates 15-dollars.
