(Richmond)- Virginia is maintaining a hold on eleven congressional seats. Data was released from the U.S. Census Bureau showing that the state’s population increased to more than eight-point-six-million residents. That is an increase of nearly eight-percent from 2010 across the Commonwealth. The Census does a major population count every ten years.
