Virginia Expects 200,000 Johnson & Johnson Vaccine Doses Next Week

(Richmond)-  Virginia is expecting more than 200-thousand Johnson & Johnson vaccine doses next week.  That’s a big increase from this week’s shipment of 49-thousand.  The next allocation of the one-dose shot is made up of the state’s allocation as well as the federal government’s retail pharmacy partnership program.  State Vaccine Coordinator Dr. Danny Avula says it means the state will be able to progress through distribution phase 1C quicker than initially projected.
