Burn Ban Issued For Virginia

(Richmond)- A burn ban is in effect in Virginia through the end of April. The state Department of Forestry says there’s no burning allowed until after 4 p.m. They urge people not to burn on windy days, keep burn piles small, have water and tools at hand and never leave a fire unattended. They say if the fire gets out of control, call 9-1-1.
