Virginia Farmers Honor COVID Victims

(Wakefield)- Two Virginia farmers are transforming a field into a memorial for COVID victims. Amy and Michael Drewry, of Wakefield, have placed more than seven-thousand flags on their blueberry farm to honor people who have died from the virus. Amy says her goal is not only to recognize killed during the pandemic, but also to highlight how serious it is. They are using multi-color flags to show the diversity of lives lost. They plan to keep the flags up until COVID numbers go down.
