Virginia Eases Some Statewide COVID Restrictions

(Richmond)- A few long-standing coronavirus restrictions are being eased in Virginia. Governor Northam says that the curfew that has been effective between midnight-to-5 a.m. will be lifted. Restaurants and bars may now serve alcohol until midnight. In addition, outdoor social gatherings may increase to 25 people while outdoor entertainment and venues can operate with up to one-thousand people or 30-percent capacity. Indoor venues will continue to be capped at 250 people. All of these restrictions are effective today.
