Flags Lowered In Honor Of Lives Lost To COVID

(Richmond)- Flags are being flown at half-staff throughout the state. The move comes after the White House ordered all U.S. flags to be lowered to honor the lives of more than 500-thousand Americans that have died as a result of COVID-19. Governor Northam says that they will remain lowered until sunset on Friday. Virginia has lost over 7-thousand people to the coronavirus.
