(Charlottesville)- The University of Virginia is working to mitigate a COVID outbreak on campus. Officials say there are currently nearly 780-active cases on campus. This comes after nearly 175-cases were confirmed just yesterday. Officials are asking students to follow strict COVID guidelines put into place, essentially asking them to stay home if they’re not in class, getting food or exercising.
