(Richmond)- No-knock warrants will soon be a thing of the past in Virginia. Governor Northam signed what’s being called “Breonna’s Law” yesterday. He was joined by the family of Breonna Taylor who was fatally shot by police in Kentucky during a no-knock warrant. The General Assembly passed the bill during a special session. Virginia becomes only the third state to make new rules.
