(DC)- A new memorial will open today in DC. The Smithsonian will open the National Native American Veterans Memorial to the public today. It will honor the service of Native veterans at the grounds of the National Museum of the American Indian along 4th Street. The memorial will be open 24-hours a day. A virtual ceremony will take place today to unveil the memorial.
