(Richmond)- Signs for Confederate Avenue along a four-block stretch in Richmond’s North Side are coming down. The city council voted to rename the section Laburnum Park Boulevard after reviewing a community survey. It’s another in a line of changes to remove Confederate symbols out of the city.
