(Richmond)- Governor Northam is sending financial assistance to food banks. Northam says he will shift seven-million-dollars in CARES Act funding to food banks in Virginia. It will help them purchase food, address storage issues, and transportation issues. Food banks have helped many Virginians during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
