(Richmond)- We now know how Virginia plans to distribute the coronavirus vaccine when one is made available. Elderly people, healthcare workers and other essential workers will receive it first. The state released a draft plan that was turned over to the C-D-C for their approval. A vaccination program will also be created with more than 70-million-dollars to help local health departments and a couple million-dollars to help promote the vaccine. As of yesterday, there are more than 168-thousand total cases of coronavirus in Virginia.
