(Richmond)- A decision is coming soon on the future of the Robert E. Lee statue in Richmond. The plaintiffs argued in court yesterday that an old deed signed in the late 1800s requires the state to hold the monument sacred. But, the General Assembly repealed a law last week that accepted the deed. The Lee monument was ordered to be removed by the governor. The judge says he’ll make a decision next week.
