Virginia Students Dominate ACT Scores

(Richmond)- Virginia students are performing very well on their A-C-T college admission tests. They again have outperformed their peers across the nation in each category. The highest subject differential was math where 62-percent of Virginia students reached the benchmark compared to 37-percent across the country. Overall, 48-percent of young Virginians reached the benchmark compared to 26 in the other states. A-C-T said about 19-percent of 2020 graduates in the state took the assessment.
