(Richmond)- An effort to help Virginians with financial housing assistance. Governor Northam announced yesterday that the state has shifted 12-million-dollars from the CARES Act over to Virginia’s Rent and Mortgage Relief Program. It will help assist residents and landlords keep up with payments and avoid eviction or foreclosure. The program paid out 50-million-dollars since it was started back in June.
