Lee Statue To Remain Until At Least October

(Richmond)-   The Robert E. Lee statue on Monument Avenue in Richmond will remain in place for a while longer. A circuit court judge ruled yesterday that he’s allowing a lawsuit to proceed, which means no action will be taken on a potential removal until at least October. A number of legal battles have prevented crews from removing the statue since Governor Northam ordered its removal at the beginning of June.
