(Richmond)- A Richmond museum wants the Confederate Robert E. Lee Statue if Congress chooses to remove it from the U.S. Capitol. The Museum of History and Culture says they would absolutely accept the ownership of the monument if it came down to it. No official plans have been put into place to remove it from D.C. The Commonwealth would pay for the removal and transport fees.
