(DC)- Metro is preparing to return to normal services. The transit agency will begin to shift their hours to what it was before the coronavirus pandemic. Beginning on Sunday, Metrorail will operate until 11 p.m. while opening at 5 a.m. during the week, 7 a.m. on Saturdays, and 8 a.m. on Sundays. Some of the Silver Line will return for the first time since Memorial Day. Bus services will begin at 4 a.m. and run until midnight beginning August 23rd. Officials say face coverings are required and you should maintain a safe distance from others.
