(Norfolk)- COVID-19 has forced another school to cancel fall sports. Old Dominion University will not allow any sports to be played over the next few months. The decision comes because of concerns related to the safety of players and coaches during the coronavirus pandemic. That will knock out football, field hockey, men and women’s soccer and volleyball for the foreseeable future. Officials say they hope that the spring season will allow them to catch up on the fall sports. Hampton, Norfolk State, and William and Mary have also cancelled athletic activities.
