(DC)- Metro announced yesterday that they will be expanding their hours beginning next month. Weekday rail service will operate from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on the weekend from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Meanwhile, the buses will roll from 5 a.m. to midnight on weekdays and 7 a.m. on Saturdays and 8 a.m. on Sundays while ending at midnight. Peak services will resume as well. The changes are set to begin on August 23rd.
