(Richmond)- Governor Northam has signed a bill for gun legislation. It comes after the one-year anniversary of the Virginia Beach mass shooting where he called a special session. Some of the gun control measures passed include universal background checks, reinstates the one-handgun-a-month law, and giving local governments the authority to ban guns in public spaces.
