(Mount Vernon)- George Washington’s Mount Vernon is reopening to the public. Members were allowed to visit on Saturday, and it reopened to the public yesterday. There are new safety measures including a requirement of face coverings and hand sanitizer stations around the estate. The mansion interior and education center are still closed, but the outdoor spaces and Washington’s Tomb are among the areas now open.
