State Officials Announce Funding for Schools

(Richmond)- Virginia Superintendent of Public Instruction James Lane says funding will be provided to schools for their reopening process. Over 23-million dollars that was kept to the side from the CARES Act will help schools. Money will be used for things like making up missed instruction, support for vulnerable students, and protecting the health and well-being of students and staff. Schools were closed for face-to-face instruction in March due to the coronavirus pandemic
