(Richmond)- Governor Northam is placing a suspension on evictions across the state. Northam sent the letter to Virginia Supreme Court Chief Justice Donald Lemons and requested the modification through June 28th. This will give time for the governor to create a rent relief program for people in the Commonwealth that were impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
