(Virginia Beach)- Beaches at Virginia Beach will open today for sunbathing, swimming, fishing, and surfing. Governor Northam said that sports, alcohol, tents and umbrellas are not allowed. Northam said that if people swarm the beaches and do not follow social distancing, he might close the attractions again. Beach parking will be at half capacity to limit crowds. Colonial Beach is only open this weekend for fishing or exercise.
