Freeze On State Court Hearings Extended

(Richmond)- The Virginia Supreme Court is extending its freeze on non-emergency court hearings. The extension is until May 17th and it is the third extension they have had during the coronavirus pandemic. Emergency hearings like bail, protective order, and emergency child custody hearings can take place. Judges may conduct the non-emergency court business by phone or video if everyone involved agrees.
