(LaPlata)- Much needed help is on the way to a Charles County nursing home that is dealing with a coronavirus outbreak. The Sagepoint Living Services Facility in La Plata, Maryland has experienced a COVID-19 outbreak, with at least three residents that have died after contracting the virus. Governor Larry Hogan’s Communications Director Michael Ricci tweeted that a strike team visited the facility for staffing and personal protective equipment guidance. State and county health officials have not confirmed how many residents have tested positive for the virus at the nursing home.
