(Richmond)- A man who killed a Richmond police officer more than 40 years ago is being released from prison soon. The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports the state’s parole board decided to grant parole for Vincent Martin on Friday. He was convicted of murder for shooting Officer Michael Connors four times in the head during a traffic stop in 1979. Richmond’s Police Chief is calling for an impartial immediate review of the parole board’s proceeding.
