(Richmond)- VCU Health is launching a program to help healthcare workers reuse face masks safely. The process involves decontaminating N95 masks using UV light at an off-site disinfection location. The chair of orthopedic surgery says they would ideally use new masks every day, but they’re having to preserve what they have. Other Virginia hospitals are considering using the process.
