(DC)- President Trump is approving a Major Disaster Declaration for the state of Virginia. This makes funding available to state agencies, local governments, and certain non-profit organizations to support the COVID-19 response. Virginia may now purchase additional supplies and receive reimbursements for coronavirus-related costs. Trump recently approved a Major Disaster Declaration for DC and Maryland.
