(DC)- Metro is announcing more cuts and changes to their service beginning today. The transit agency will close seventeen additional stations and will limit bus service to 26 routes. Over the weekend, Metro will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Metro said the changes are in an effort to save cleaning supplies and to keep their employees safe from the threat of contracting the coronavirus.
