GOP Questions Stay-At-Home Order, Timing Of Primary

(Richmond)- Some Republicans are concerned about Virginia’s stay-at-home order as the primary approaches.  Governor Northam issued the order through June 10th, which is one day after the scheduled primary election in the commonwealth.  The state’s GOP chair and the state Senate Republican Caucus have questioned the timing of the order, and have asked Northam to be more clear.  The governor is encouraging people to vote absentee in municipal elections coming up in May.
