(Spotsylvania)-Route 648 (Block House Road) will be closed 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily this week at the Ta River bridge to allow VDOT’s state forces bridge crew to replace the bridge deck, improving the bridge’s condition. The road will be open to through traffic at all other times this week. Signs will be posted to guide drivers along the detour route using Route 208 (Courthouse Road) and Partlow Road.
