Boat Hit By Wave, 4 Injured

(Virginia Beach)- Virginia Aquarium officials say several passengers were injured after a wave hit their whale watching boat Saturday morning.  It happened around 10 a.m. as the boat was traveling through the Rudee Inlet.  The captain was able to navigate to a nearby fishing center and assist the passengers off the boat.  There were 124 passengers on board including the crew.  A nearby surfer claims the boat was 45-degrees in the air and people were yelling and screaming.  The wave caused damage to the bow of the boat and knocked the windows out of the deckhouse.  Four people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.  The United States Coast Guard is investigating the incident.
